Most of us have never needed to be rescued from a physical life or death emergency. An yet, all of us have a spiritual need to be rescued. All of us need ongoing forgiveness of our sins and peace with God. When Jesus came at Christmas, He came to be our Savior, our Rescuer. The more you need to be rescued, the more joyful the Savior is. Jesus’ birth is good news of great joy for those who need a Savior.
