Bible Text: Ephesians 2:11-22 | Pastor Keith Bergstrom
Series: Ephesians: Sit-Walk-Stand!
At one time, all non-Jews were “outsiders” in a very substantive way. They didn’t have God’s revelation of Himself, they had no future, and they had no hope. But God brought the “outsiders” in. He bridged the separation through the blood of Christ.
The blood of Christ not only unites us to God, it unites us with each other. Christ continues to break down walls of separation. As we follow Christ, we too are to help unite people. Christians are charged to reconcile people, 2 Corinthians 5:18-19. Reconciliation means bringing imperfect, still sinful, people together under Christ.
