James writes to Christians who have been scattered by persecution, and he tells them to consider it pure joy as they face various trials. These trails can mature and complete their faith. Today, without testing, we can live a trivial life. Suffering and hardship forces us to discover a deeper and more meaningful life. Strive to be mature and complete in your faith .
