Bible Text: Luke 5:1-11 | Pastor Keith Bergstrom
Series: Luke: A Doctor's Insight
Jesus produced a miraculously huge catch of fish, Peter sees the hand of God in that, and he wants Jesus to go away from him because of his sinfulness. Rather than go away, Jesus wants Peter to come closer. Jesus has plans for people who are sensitive to their sin and humble about it. Our sins don’t push Jesus away, but what we do next is critical. Imperfect Peter (James and John too) left everything, followed Jesus, and fished for people. Jesus became their #1 priority, and they habitually tried to attract others to Jesus.
