Bible Text: Eccl. 2:1-11 |

Series:

Life passes by quickly, like a vapor, and then we die. Because of that Solomon, the writer of Ecclesiastes saw much of life as meaningless, with no lasting value. Over 85% of the book of Ecclesiastes is a reminder that we live in a fallen, broken world. However, Solomon also saw that people have the capacity to contemplate eternity (Ecclesiastes 3:11). Solomon saw that God gives hope for justice. Wrongs will be made right. God gives comfort knowing that His wisdom is behind the mysteries of life. God puts satisfaction and enjoyment into life and work. And, in God's eyes, everything we do matters.
