Who is on the guest list for God's kingdom? It may not be who you expect. The poor, the crippled, the blind and the lame are invited. People that society looks down on and rejects are invited. By grace, people that have no right to be in the kingdom are welcomed.
The requirement for following Jesus is a total commitment and that includes a cross. Everything must be surrendered to Christ. We're saved by grace, but it's a costly grace. Christian and disciple mean the same thing!
