The scripture in Isaiah foretold Christ’s birth, but it also tied in the second coming.
Currently, “all of creation is groaning under the weight of sin.” We ache to be set right. The Earth, the heavens – all of it – aches to be set right.
*The Christ event, from conception to ascension is Good News! We have a responsibility to share it. Do not let your lack of witness keep anyone from receiving the gift of salvation, the gift of eternal life.
If God places a burden on your heart, it is YOUR burden. You must create it and follow through. Weigh the cost of time. Are you willing to make the sacrifice? Are you willing, or are you too busy?
If someone else has a burden and they are doing their best to fulfill that calling, do not talk behind their back, do not criticize them, but support and help. I heard it once said, “The Army of God is the only army that shoots its own men.” We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves. Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up. Romans 15:1-2
