When Paul wrote his first letter to the Thessalonian church they were all new Christian. Paul emphasized two things: Love everyone in a self-giving way more and more, (3:12, 4:10) and please God more and more, (4:1). May this be true for us too. May we "live lives worthy of God, who calls you into his kingdom an glory" (2:12).
