When God came, in Jesus, He entered the very situations he wanted to heal. He entered a cruel, violent world, under humble and poor circumstances. He came for liars, thieves, and those not welcomed in polite society. Jesus came for us all in our sin. Jesus came, as the light of the world, to shine gracious, healing light on all the dark places of our heart. We may not appreciate Christ's light shining on dark, private, secret areas of our life, but it is always beneficial and worth it in the end.
