Bible Text: Genesis 3:13-19 |

Beginning with an admonition, "be careful as you study that you do not get side tracked by your pet peeves. And beware, you can use the Bible to teach whatever you believe. Let ALL the WORD work ALL through you."
An example: Marriage-do not commit adultery. Everyone agrees that this says not to have extramarital relationships. Not everyone follows the rule, but it isn't because they don't understand, it is because they don't want to. On the other hand, leadership in marriage can be a very contentious topic.
Personally the words of Ephesians 5:21-33 are pretty clear, I am to love my wife as Christ loved the church. Well no man can love his wife as much as Christ loves us. But I can get closer and closer to that type of love by the renewing of my mind (Romans 12:2). Oh by the way, we are to love the church as Christ did also (I John 4:7). Oh yeah, and we are to love our enemies also (Matthew 5:44).
We have a responsibility to each other, to love. You are required to live your life as you believe God wants you to. You are not to tell others what God wants from them.
