God wants to bring people from death to life. The doorway to life is through a close, exclusive, relationship with Jesus. The expectations are high because we're talking about surrendering to the God of the universe. To minimize that relationship would be to cheapen it! And, when we repent, and turn to God, He runs to meet us and welcomes us with gracious open arms. May we also look for the lost, and may we welcome them with open arms.
