Bible Text: Luke 6:17-26 |

Series:

Right after Jesus selected His 12 disciples, He gave them a very frank talk about what it means to be a disciple. Disciples may face poverty, hunger, tears, hatred and rejection, but in time they will be rewarded, (Luke 6:23, 2 Corinthians 4:16-17). Jesus isn’t shy about promising rewards for faithful service. Whatever Jesus asks us to do, even when it’s hard, it’s for our own good. Stay faithful. An eternal glory, a great reward awaits all Christ’s faithful disciples.
