The LORD is our light, our brilliant, sinless, perfect, guide (Ps. 27:1). Following Him keeps you pure and free from sin. The LORD is our salvation. He is the one who compassionately forgives and declares us not guilty. The LORD is our stronghold. He is all powerful, and He renews our strength. Waiting on Gods strengthens us because we are in step with Him. When the LORD is our guiding light, our assured salvation and our source of renewed strength, fear will not get the best of us. This isn’t “escapism” where we avoid life’s hardships. God guides, saves and strengthens us in the midst of fearful circumstances. Within His tender care we are safe.
