There's a lot of darkness, evil and suffering in our world. Some believe we can fix it if we just work together, put the correct policies in place, and better educate people. But Christmas is the exact opposite of this belief. On our own we can NEVER extinguish the darkness. Christmas doesn't say we can make this world a better place if we just pull together. However, the Good News about Jesus is that God has already done for us what we could never do. Only through the light of Christ is there hope for the world and hope for us.
