When Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah were told to bow to a golden statue of Kind Nebuchadnezzar or be burned alive, they ran to their strong fortified tower, the LORD God. They believed God could rescue them, but even if He did not, they were committed to God no matter what the cost. Their faith, which was being tested, didn't require a miracle. The moment they were thrown into the furnace they were instantly delivered. God honored their commitment to Him. God protects and preserves His children. His name, the LORD, is a fortified tower. Run and cling to Him.
