Bible Text: Luke 23:32-43 | Pastor Keith Bergstrom
Jesus’ last words on the cross were some of his most important words. His first word was a radical prayer of forgiveness for His enemies who put Him on the cross. His second word was promising a repentant criminal paradise, starting today. Jesus’ third word was a lament of raw honesty, as He felt forsaken by God, and yet He also knew He had a hope-filled future. These words challenge us to radical forgiveness, they challenge us to not give up on the lost, and they challenge us to express our deepest pain to God and never lose hope. In Jesus’ death, He modeled for us how to live.
