Commandment 3 tells us to keep God's name holy, to set apart, dedicate, all that God is, as sacred. Reverence and honor God. Jesus' name is above every name. One day everyone will bow to Jesus and His lordship (Philippians 2:9-11). If you are a Christian you bear God's name (2 Chronicles 7:14; Romans 8:16-17). Only a member of the family can honor or dishonor a family name. Christian, does your life bring honor to the One who's name we bear?
