All of us, to varying degrees, want to push back at authority. We resist someone telling us what to do. But, Jesus is not just any authority. He’s an expert teacher, with authority over demons and power to heal. He has the authority of God to forgive a lifetime of sins. He can command the dead to come to life, and, with a word, He can control the forces of nature! The question for us is: "Will I yield my will to the greater authority of Jesus... every day?"
