Last Supper Passover Service (Passover Seder)
April 14 , 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
The biggest event in Israel’s history was the Passover, the celebration of their rescue from slavery in Egypt. Passover’s greatness is the greatness of God Miraculously caring for His children. One of Jesus’ last earthly acts was the celebration of the Passover. It was in the celebration of deliverance from Egyptian bondage, that Jesus revealed God’s plan to redeem the world. It was no coincidence that Jesus chose the Passover, with the Passover lamb to communicate the meaning of His own death on a cross. At Thursday’s Seder there will be ceremonial items of Passover at each table. At the tables we will see, hear and feel the truth of God’s love expressed at Passover, and ultimately at Jesus death on the cross for us.
