Sermon Summary: Christianity was, from the first, a resurrection movement. Without the resurrection there would be no church. Resurrection means life after death in a new eternal body. Jesus’ resurrection was the “first fruit” of all who die in Christ.
In addition, Christ’s resurrection on the first day of the week, marked the beginning of God’s new creation. Whatever we do in faith and obedience that reflects God’s kingdom values will last, (I Corinthians 3:11-13). Be encouraged, your labor in the Lord is not in vain (I Corinthians 15:58), in addition to the hope of transformed, resurrection bodies. The resurrection did change everything!
